Objective

The student is aware of the organizers of rehabilitation and key public, private and third sector services provided by rehabilitation service system and actors and forms of operation and rehabilitation legislation.

Content

Rehabilitation system: public social and health services, health insurance system, employment pension system, statutory insurance system, occupational health care,employment and business services administration, sanction system.
Medical, vocational, social and educational rehabilitation.
Rehabilitation organised by the private and third sectors. Legislation related to rehabilitation.

Qualifications

The student knows the basic premises for rehabilitation for different clients, groups, families and communities, the factors that lead to a need for rehabilitation, as well as the objectives and contents of the rehabilitating.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Student presents basic knowledge of the Finnish rehabilitation service system’s services, legislation, actors and forms of operation in her assignments. Student utilise narrowly source materials and experience-based knowledge in assignments. Students follow the JAMK reporting instructions.

2 (satisfactory)
Students presents a relevant knowledge of the Finnish rehabilitation service system’s services, legislation, actors and forms of operation in assignments. Studens utilise source materials and experience-based knowledge in assignments. Students follow the JAMK reporting instructions.

3 (good) Student applies a well-structured knowledge of the Finnish rehabilitation service system’s services, legislation, actors and forms of operation in assignments. Student utilise source materials and apply and illustrate experience-based knowledge in assignments. Students follow the JAMK reporting instructions.

4 (Very good) Student applies diverse and well-structured knowledge of the Finnish rehabilitation service system’s services, legislation, actors and forms of operation in assignments. Student utilise source materials critically and apply and illustrate experience-based knowledge in assignments. Students follow the JAMK reporting instructions.

5 (excellent) Student applies extremely diverse and well-structured knowledge of the Finnish rehabilitation service system’s services, legislation, actors and forms of operation in assignments. Student utilise source materials and experience-based knowledge broadly and critically in assignments. They analyse and assess rehabilitation services and bring forth new ideas on how to develop these. Students follow the JAMK reporting instructions.
