Objective

The student can make also larger PLC programs according the IEC-61131-3 for controlling the motor drives. The student understands the structures of control systems and can tune the system.

TSAPL- Competence in processes, machines and systems
The student is able to implement control applications using programmable logic and process control systems.

EA-ER- Engineering practice
The student is able to combine theory and practice to solve engineering problems. The student is able to perform process experiments, draw basic models for process dynamics and to use PID control circuit tuning methods.

Adequate (1): The student identifies the basic knowledge and terminology but in the interpreting of the essential concepts the skills are still inadequate.

Satisfactory (2): The student is familiar with the basic knowledge and terminology but it’s challenging to make device controls independently.

Good (3): The student can make also larger PLC programs for controlling the motor drives. The student understands the structures of control systems and can tune the system.

Very good (4): The student masters the essential knowledge and can apply the knowledge.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Excellent (5): The student masters the essential knowledge and can apply the knowledge acquired in a creative and innovative manner.
