Objective

The student participates in the cyber security exercise in their role. The objective is to get practical experience in a wide-scale attack towards a company infrastructure in electronic environment in the role of attacker, defender or organizer of the exercise. The roles are designed during the second course of the module, “Design and preparation of a cyber security exercise”.

Content

The course includes the student’s participation in a cyber security exercise.

Qualifications

The student must have completed the professional studies of their specialization option in order to participate in the course. The knowledge is based on theory on Company Networks and practices, knowledge and practices of various network technologies and server operating systems. Completion Designing and Preparing a Cyber Security Exercise course is required.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Passed: The student participates in the cyber security exercise in the role defined for them and the group assignment related to it.

Not Passed: The student does not participate in the cyber exercise in the role defined for them nor in the group assignment related to it.
