Objective

The student has command of various practices of software business and applies them contributing to their project’s group work.

The student understand the methods and benefits of project group work. As a member of the project group, the student is able to produce a solution that meets a customer’s needs.

Content

As a member of a project group, the student participates in a software project assigned by an external software house. During the project, the whole lifecycle of a project is gone over. During the course, the group works as independently as possible.

Qualifications

Software Business (TTOS1000), software business, Object-oriented Programming, Web technologies, Software design.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The group-based project work is assessed by the supervisor, assigner company and the group’s own observations.
At the end of the course, the group produces a peer assessment document on their activities. An optional learning log is used to support the assessment if needed.
