Objective

The students are familiar with the concepts related to software and software life cycle. They understand the core processes of software business and the role of software development as part of software production. They master project work as the administrative model of software development and can take customer’s perspective into account in software production.

Qualifications

The basic concepts of programming and software engineering

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Demonstration of overall competence based on the completion of assignments, learning diaries, and exam.
o Excellent (5): The students can apply the methods of software production and software work they have learned to the challenges of information system development
o Good (3-4): The students master the concepts and operating principles of software production and software work
o Satisfactory (1-2): The students understand the basic concepts and principles of software production and software work
