QoS Management and Implementation (3cr)

Objective

The students are familiar with the operation of IP-QoS mechanisms and the techniques affecting the service quality of core networks. They are acquainted with QoS structural elements, protocols and QoS, H-QoS, E2E-QoS, VPLS, H-VPLS, EVC (Mac-in-Mac, Q-in-Q), Traffic Engineering, Carrier Ethernet technology, multicast distribution technology (IPTV), streaming, and related factors affecting service quality.
