Objective
As a new business starter/entrepreneur within a specific sector, the graduate is able to prepare a complete, consistent and feasible business plan. The student is also able to put such a plan into action.
Entrepreneurship is a collective term for behaviour, attitude, norms and values, motivators and the various personality characteristics. Behavioural competencies largely determine whether and how knowledge and skills are used. Task competencies largely indicate what individuals should know and be able to do, and encapsulate all knowledge and skills.
Preferably special attention will be paid to local/regional variations in how different creative industries function vis-à-vis business and cultural policies, globalization, and the strategic role of creativity in regional research and development activities.
Content
This unit of study consists of three parts: development of business plan, development of entrepreneurial skills and research and development. All three parts will be accomplished within the framework of the student learning enterprise. The students will carry out the analysis and planning necessary to write a business plan, as well as write a comprehensive business plan for the student learning enterprise. The student or the teams will produce and market their product, as well as performing all the related managerial tasks.

o excellent (5) students show an excellent understanding of the key issues and their work is very well-produced
o good (3-4) students understand the main processes and concepts and their work is of a reasonable standard
o satisfactory (1-2) students gain and demonstrate enough knowledge to pass the course
