Objective

After a successful completion of the course, the students are able to identify essential management functions, skills, leadership styles, and the major viewpoints of management theory with respect to the global music industry. They also have a general knowledge of the application of organisational theory to the global music industry in terms of structure, function, objectives, and the internal and external organisational environment.

Content

Introduction to management theory and the roles and functions of management, classical management theories, as well as behavioural management theories. The course provides students with general knowledge of various organisations in different environments.
It also offers a perspective in planning, organising, leading and controlling.
