World of Music 1 (6cr)

Objective

A successful completion of the course provides students with general knowledge of western music and a historical perspective to the western music industry. The students have an overview of composers, genres and cultural influences in different eras of western music.

Content

The course concentrates on explaining different acoustic and cognitive environments and the realities between past and present music episodes.
