Objective

The students know the significance of pure food, air and water for human health and well-being. They know the principles of risk analysis. The students know the social significance of environmental issues especially in the rural areas.

Content

Risk analysis, health risks of food, water and air, chemicalisation of the environment, waste disposal, environmental sociology

Qualifications

The students know the basic concepts of ecology and the basics of the functioning of the ecosystem.
