Waters and Water Ecosystems (3cr)

Objective

The students know the chemical and physical qualities of 'natural state' watercourse types. They know the effect of seasons on watercourse and its ecosystem. They know the amount of watercourse's base production and the steps in the food chain. They know the contents of water framework directive and can apply its classification to an example lake.
