Objective
The students know the principles of environmental legislation in Finland and in the EU, as well as the structure and operation of environmental administration. They can apply the norms of environmental legislation to their own work and use their opportunities to influence environmental issues. They can make an application for the environmental permit of a small or medium-sized unit.
Content
The main principles of environmental law, supranational environmental law, planning the use of the environment, environmental changes and YVA (environmental impact assessment), environmental protection law and environmental permits, nature conservation law, natural resources law, the organisations of environmental administration.
