Osaamistavoitteet
The course helps students to view M&A as a process, rather than transaction, which requires insights from a number of disciplines to understand and effectively carry out. It considers that this process is a multi-stage one and that a holistic view of the process is necessary to appreciate the inter-stage links and develop effective value creating M&A strategies. To develop this holistic view, the course draws upon multiple perspectives developed by scholars in different disciplines. The course seeks to make students aware of risks and potential problems in M&A process. Because of the increasing importance of M&A in individual countries, in regions and across the World, the course deals with the above issues from an international perspective. The course seeks to provide a balanced approach to M&A drawing upon the conceptual, empirical and practitioners perspectives.   
IBCRI    Skills in Critical and Analytical Understanding 
Critically review, analyze and understand information available from academic and professional business sources in the context of reporting Global Mergers and Acquisitions 
 reports. 
IBCOM    Communication Skills   
Communicate responsibly and effectively in English through oral, written and digital formats in the context of reporting academic and professional Global Mergers and Acquisitions
