Care of Mother and Family During Childbirth, Practical Training 1 (13cr)

Objective

The students are able to provide care independently in a regular childbirth and master the related interventions. They plan, implement and evaluate obstetric care together with the woman and her family, based on empowerment and respecting their cultural background, wishes and expectations. The students are able to monitor and provide appropriate care to the newborn.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Pass/fail (starting from autumn 2010). The assessment criteria of the course can be found in the relevant work space in OPTIMA.
