Objective
The students can use their knowledge and skills related to public health work and health care in a way which promotes the health and function of the population. The students can evaluate the quality of preventive work and care for the aging population and develop them. The students master the various work forms of elderly health care and can develop them. They can work in a complex network when planning and implementing health care for people of different ages. The students can critically evaluate their own work and follow its results and effectiveness.
Content
The assessment methods and promotion of different sectors of health and function. The service system and its quality. Health inequality and prevention of social exclusion. Multiculturalism in health care. Infectious diseases. Environmental health care.
