Objective
The students can identify the central characteristics of occupational therapist's work, are aware of the needs of clients coming to occupational therapy, and understand occupational therapy as one sector of rehabilitation. The students know the ethical pronciples in occupational therapist´s work. They understand the meaning of activity analysis when choosing purposeful activities for clients.
Content
Practical training, practical training diary, basics of assisting a patient.
Qualifications
The students have an idea of occupational therapy as a field and understand the significance of a therapeutic interaction relationship for therapy.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Completion of:
supervised practical training (125 h),
a practical training diary and
concact days at school.
