Objective
The students understand the significance of sexuality in the course of life, the multiplicity of sexuality and sexual health as parts of the holistic well-being of an individual and a community. They examine their own attitudes, values, and restrictions regarding sexuality. The students have a basic knowledge of sexual development, sexual anatomy and physiology, and sexual reactions. They have developed a readiness for safe and responsible sexual behaviour.
Content
The dimensions of sexuality, sexual health, reproductive health,
sexual rights, reproduction rights. Sex taboos and myths, sexual phantasies, erotics, pornography, prostitution. Sexual development, sexual diversity. Love, couple relationship. Sexual reactions, sexual aids and devices. Family planning, contraception, sexually transmitted illnesses.
