Objective

The student
-understands the significance of sexuality through life span and homogeneity of sexuality
-understands sexual health as a part of the holistic wellbeing of an individual and a community
-analyses his/her own sexuality related attitudes, values and boundaries
-has basic knowledge about sexual development, sexual anatomy and physiology as well as of sexual reactions
-has readiness for safe and responsible sexual behavior

Content

The dimensions of sexuality, sexual health, reproductive health,
sexual rights, reproduction rights. Sex taboos and myths, sexual fantasies, erotics, pornography, prostitution. Sexual development, sexual diversity. Love, couple relationship. Sexual reactions, sexual aids and devices. Family planning, contraception, sexually transmitted illnesses.

Qualifications

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Active participation in lectures, processing of one's own sexuality with help of a diary, or a literature exam
