Objective
The students recognize and take into account the aspects influencing system behavior during its life cycle. They are able to estimate a system’s availability and recognize factors related to it. They understand the significance of system engineering in design and development. They also know the structure of life-cycle cost analysis and recognize its elements.
Content
The concepts of technical effectiveness, operational process, functionability profile, operational effectiveness, life-cycle cost, cost effectiveness, logistics management, and system effectiveness. Case study: Giving numbers and math to concepts.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The course will be assessed based on the exam and case study. The assessment methods and criteria will be specified at the beginning of the course.
