Objective

You will understand the basics of digital number systems and be able to apply this knowledge in practice. You can rationalize simple technical problems logically and produce an implementation corresponding to the solution. You understand the use of traditional codes and how to correct errors in them.
You understand the basics of electronics from the perspective of the needs of the field. You will learn about basic components and become familiar with resistors, capacitors, coils, diodes, transistors, and operational amplifiers. You will learn to design simple basic circuits using these components. You need this knowledge to outline functional entities in detail.

You know the concepts and principles related to digital technology. You can analyze logical structures. You know the basics of using basic components. You understand the operation of transistors in actuator control and the principles of operating voltages.

Content

In this course, you will learn the basics of digital number systems and their practical application. You will be able to solve technical problems logically and implement appropriate solutions. You will understand the use of traditional codes and be able to correct errors in them.
In this course, you will learn to understand the basics of electronics from a practical perspective. You are familiar with basic components such as resistors, capacitors, coils, diodes, transistors, and operational amplifiers, and you will be able to analyze simple circuits. This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to understand and outline functional entities in detail.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Pass 1: You partially understand the key concepts of the course. You have a passable grasp of the theory related to basic electronic components and, with assistance, are able to design and implement basic connections in accordance with the given requirements.

Satisfactory 2: You have a satisfactory command of the basic concepts of digital technology and the theory related to basic electronic components, and you are able to satisfactorily design and implement basic connections in accordance with the given requirements specification.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Good (3)
You understand the concepts of logical design and know how to apply them in practice. You demonstrate a good command of the theory related to basic electronic components and know how to analyze existing solutions in a versatile manner. You are skilled at designing and implementing basic connections in accordance with the given requirements. You reflect well on what you have learned.

Excellent (4)
In addition to the above, you understand the basics of codes used in data transfer and the principles of error correction. You have an excellent command of the theory related to electronic components and are able to design and implement connections in accordance with the given requirements specification. Your approach is innovative and you reflect well on what you have learned.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

You know how to choose the best number system for the application and implement effective error correction based on logical design. You have an excellent command of the theory related to electronic components and are highly skilled at designing and implementing connections in accordance with the given requirements specification. You are able to independently analyze functionalities and develop them.
