Objective
You will learn to identify data-driven solutions that support sustainable bioeconomy production, business development and the emergence of new innovations. You will be able to assess the opportunities and challenges related to the use of data in the context of the bioeconomy. You will understand the importance of spatial data in the bioeconomy sector.
You will understand the principles related to data ownership, fair use and licensing. You will understand the importance of reliable data, for example from the perspective of food chain responsibility and traceability, taking into account cybersecurity.

-knowledge and understanding of applicable materials, equipment, tools, technologies and processes and their limitations in your own field of specialization
-knowledge and understanding of applicable analysis, design and research/development techniques and methods and their limitations in your own field of specialization.

Content
The possibilities of data economy and data spaces in the field of bioeconomy. Principles of fair data sharing and tools for utilization.
Utilization of spatial data sets, data from production, and open data, for example through information system interfaces. Basic principles and practices of cybersecurity in the bioeconomy sector.

Basics of Programming and Databases or equivalent knowledge.
