Objective
The course introduces you to the latest technologies and current solutions in the bioeconomy that are shaping the development of the sector. You will learn about the procurement, selection, installation, implementation and calibration of economically sustainable new technologies on the market. You will also learn how to search for and utilize relevant information about new technologies and solutions that support the development and innovations of the bioeconomy. Information is searched for, for example, from international events where you can learn about innovations and technological developments in the bioeconomy sector on a global scale. You will be able to present new technology solutions to entrepreneurs in the bioeconomy sector. You will be able to work with experts operating at the interface between the bioeconomy and the technology sector.

Content
Economically sustainable technology acquisition and deployment process. Information search on new technologies and innovations. Utilization of robotics in the bioeconomy. Participation in an international bioeconomy event and presentation of your chosen technology solution to bioeconomy actors.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
You will identify the basic steps involved in acquiring and implementing technology. You will be able to search for information about new technologies and innovations guidedly. You will be able to mention possible applications of robotics in the bioeconomy. You will participate in an event and briefly report on one of your chosen technologies.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
You can describe and advance the processes related to the acquisition and implementation of economically sustainable technology using a practical example. You can independently search for information about new technologies and innovations. You can analyze the benefits and applications of robotics in the bioeconomy. You will participate in an event and report expertly on one justified and relevant technology solution of your choice.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
You can describe professionally and critically evaluate the processes related to the acquisition and implementation of economically sustainable technology using a practical example. You can independently combine information about new technologies and innovations from different sources. You can analyze the benefits of robotics and plan diverse use cases for robots in bioeconomy production processes. You will participate in an event and report expertly on one of your chosen justified and relevant technology solutions, linking it to the broader development of the bioeconomy sector.
