Objective

The course introduces you to the diverse operating environment of the natural resources sector. After completing the course, you will understand the principles of political decision-making and the economic mechanisms affecting the natural resources sector. You will know the definitions and key guidelines of the bioeconomy and circular economy, both nationally and internationally. You will learn to recognize the main organizations and stakeholders in the natural resources sector.

Content

Principles of political decision-making. Main features of climate, energy, agricultural, and forestry policies. Basic principles of economics and the mechanisms affecting the national economy. Definition of bio- and circular economy and strategic guidelines. Organizations and producer organizations, as well as research, development, and innovation activities.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

A passed course requires the independent completion of learning tasks, active participation in webinars, and achieving the learning objectives of the course.
