Objective

You understand the use of water resources and the related challenges globally. You know how to promote water responsibility in different sectors. You are familiar with the state of water and water management objectives in Finland. You know the principles of water supply operations and understand their significance from the perspective of societal security of supply.

Knowledge and understanding:
You know the natural science basics of responsible water use in your own technical field of specialisation. You understand the importance of responsible water use in the future in your field of specialisation.

Research and information retrieval:
You are able to search literature and use scientific databases and other sources of information. You are able to critically evaluate the information sources in your own field.

Multidisciplinary competence:
You understand the ecological, economic and social perspectives related to the field of technology. You are able to find and interpret relevant and reliable information to understand complex issues. You understand the importance of independent lifelong learning and are able to follow the development of science and technology in your own field of specialisation.
