Objective
You are familiar with the operation and structure of the Finnish energy system and the characteristics of the centralized and decentralized energy system. You are aware of the technical possibilities of renewable energy production and raw material procurement in sparsely populated areas. You are able to plan decentralized, environmentally friendly and economically justified energy production and solutions that improve its security of supply. You understand the importance of resource wisdom and energy efficiency as part of the sustainable development of the natural resource sector and the green transition.
Competencies (EUR-ACE)
Knowledge and understanding:
Knowledge and understanding of applicable materials, equipment, tools, technologies and processes and their limitations in your own field of specialization.
Applying technology in practice:
The ability to identify, formulate and solve complex problems, being able to select and having the practical skills to apply established analytical, computational and experimental techniques and methods that are appropriate to the situation
Content
Energy use in rural and bioeconomy environments
Energy efficiency and resource-wise energy solutions in the bioeconomy
Decentralized energy production and its potential in rural areas
Efficient and environmentally friendly fuel procurement and use in sparsely populated areas
