Objective

The student understands the basics of technical drawing. They can create computer-aided drawings of an object’s different projections and various sectional views. They master the use of blocks and attributes, can produce detail enlargements, and understand the importance of styles in organizing work, as well as apply standard-compliant dimensioning to drawings.

Knowledge and Understanding

The student can read existing drawings and produce unambiguous workshop drawings. They can generate both part and assembly drawings using a AutoCAD.

Technology in Practice
Students are able to create the drawings required for manufacturing and implement their own designs. The course enables them to start working in supporting design tasks.

Students can also attach images and technical documents to their assignments and theses.

Content

Description methods, projections, dimensioning and other markings and attaching markings to CAD drawings.

Qualifications

AutoCAD beginners.
