Objective

You will develop project activities in a constructive, goal-oriented and innovative way, responding to the changing needs of working life. You will promote the principles of customer orientation in project work.

You will lead the project team and activities towards strategic objectives, drawing on multidisciplinary competences and networks.
You will reflect and critically evaluate your own competences at different stages of the project. You will identify gaps in your competences and demonstrate competences for continuous learning in order to develop your competences in a goal-oriented way.

You will also analyse project solutions at organisational and societal level and assess their impact from an ecological, social and economic perspective.

You will promote an ethical and sustainable culture in your project work.

Communicate clearly and effectively to different stakeholders and build and maintain professional networks to ensure project success.

You will exploit and apply researched knowledge, digitalisation opportunities and appropriate research and development methods to achieve project objectives.

Promote an information and cybersecurity culture in the project team, taking into account data protection issues.

Use AI in an appropriate and responsible way in project work. You will actively develop your own AI literacy as an expert.

Content

Internship in a work project as part of a project team for Master students in the welfare sector. The learning platform can be Jamk projects or projects in which the student works in the working life.

You will gain practical project management skills by participating in a real project in the workplace. You will develop and manage your project activities in a goal-oriented way and create new approaches and solutions to meet the needs of working life. You will apply and integrate multidisciplinary competences in a project, analysing and evaluating the impact of the project also at organisational and societal level. You will promote a future-oriented and innovative culture, produce well-founded development ideas and guide the project team towards strategic objectives. You will critically evaluate project solutions, promote ethical practices and take into account the principles of sustainable development in practical project work. You will work professionally with different stakeholders and networks. Demonstrate an understanding of the wider context in which your work in the project is embedded.

For Master students, project work placements are part of their elective studies. It can take place in your own networks in the workplace or, for example, in projects at your institution.

Items of Assessment:
Documentation of project work to be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Time sheet approved by the project manager with explanatory notes (specifies the number of credits).
Self-evaluation based on the course objectives and the Arene publication (Recommendation for common competences for universities of applied sciences).
The self-assessment can be either written or oral, depending on the nature of the project.

Pass:
Your work on the project is constructive and goal-oriented. You take into account the principles of customer orientation in your project work.

You demonstrate the ability to critically evaluate your own skills. You demonstrate the ability to identify gaps in your own knowledge and demonstrate competence in continuous learning.

You will be able to analyse project solutions also at organisational and societal level and assess their impact from an ecological, social and economic perspective.

You will promote an ethical and sustainable working culture and implement the principles of equal opportunities in practical project work.

You will communicate clearly and effectively to different stakeholders and build and maintain professional networks to ensure project success.

You will use and apply researched knowledge, digitalisation opportunities and appropriate research and development methods to achieve project objectives.

Promote an information and cybersecurity culture in the project team, taking into account data protection issues.
Use AI in a responsible way in project work.
