Objective

Purpose:
Under guidance, you will practice planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing work of patients with internal diseases together with the multiprofessional team.

Under guidance, you know how to plan, implement and evaluate customer-oriented care in cooperation with the patient, relatives and other social and health professionals while considering patient safety. You know how to use reliable information about sustainable solutions and operating models related to your field. In line with the practice context, you actively develop your Finnish language competence utilized within medical nursing settings.

Content

You practice nursing care of patients suffering from internal diseases under supervision in the bed ward of a health center hospital or in special care in the bed ward of internal medicine, lung diseases, heart diseases, neurology, hematology, cancer or in the rehabilitation department.

Qualifications

You master medical nursing theory and safe medical calculations.
