Clinical training in outpatient nursing (6cr)

Objective

You can evaluate the care needs and urgency of your patients' care.
You can interview your patients in adequate Finnish and observe the changes in the patient's condition in the context of your practice unit.
You can perform clinical examinations and are be able to draw conclusions from them concerning the patients' condition and care needs in the context of your care unit.
You know how to monitor long-term illnesses and guide patients in their care in adequate Finnish.

Qualifications

Theory of patient clinical examination and assessment of care.
Basic knowledge of patient education and health promotion.
Adequte Finnish language skills for basic patient interviews and patient guidance.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
