Objective

The students understand the significance of logistics information systems in modern networked business. They recognize the features and application areas of logistics information systems, understand the links between the systems, and how supply chains are managed in networked business. The aim is that student understand the role and signifinance of information systems in management of logistics. The aim is also for the students to develop the ability to work as logistics experts in development and implementation projects related to information systems and control systems.

Content

Networks and management of the supply chain as well as logistic information systems. Enterprice Resource Planning, other important logistic management systems. SAP system will be used in education.
