Objective

The students know the most common machine parts and their connections, as well as the dimensioning and selection criteria of machine parts.

Content

The connections of machine parts (welded, adhesive, screw joints, hub and shaft connections, flexible joints). Power transmission devices (shafts, shaft locking, gearing, chain and belt drives, couplers, brakes). Lubrication technology and bearings. Tighteners.
