Mechanical Drawings and Basics of CAD (9cr)

Objective

The students are able to draw individual projections and cut-away drawings on computer. They also master the correct dimensioning of drawings, tolerances and other markings.
They are able to read drawings and to produce unambiguous technical drawings of products, technical and assembly drawings with a CAD system, and simple 3D models and configurations, as well as technical drawings on these.

Content

Basics of mechanical drawing, description methods, projections, dimensioning and other markings, integrating the markings with CAD drawings.
