Osaamistavoitteet
By completion of the course the student will be able to understand the different phases of a New Venture growth, start-up team formation and HRM development and managerial challenges related to them. The student will be able to understand the key concepts and tools relevant for analyzing new ventures from managerial and structural point of view, as well as propose viable strategies to tackle the challenges.

Assessment is based on knowledge, skills and competence in accordance with the National and European Qualifications Framework, Level 7.
1 (Sufficient): The student is familiar with the basics of the New Venture growth dynamics, as is able to propose policies and action for start-up team formation and development. In communicating the findings and ideas of the student there is clear need for improvement, both orally and in written form.
2 (Satisfactory): The student has basic knowledge of key tools and concepts on how to analyze the managerial needs and challenges of a new venture, and has ability to formulate some justified strategies and action for new venture team and HRM development. In the communication of the output of the student´s ideas and findings there is room for improvement.
3 (Good): The student shows knowledge of major part of relevant concepts and tools to analyze the managerial challenges of a new venture through different stages of growth. The ability to apply these tools in order to propose viable managerial strategies and action gets clearly demonstrated. The student is able to formulate and communicate ideas and findings in a clear manner.
4 (Very good): The student shows clearly knowledge of the key concepts and tools used to model and analyze the different stages of growth. Students also demonstrates very good skills in applying the knowledge and tools to create strategies and action for new venture team and HRM development , and is able to communicate the ideas and findings effectively in both oral and written form.
5 (Excellent): The student shows wide and detailed command of the different tools and concepts related to the different growth stages of a new venture, and shows convincing ability to turn the knowledge into viable strategies and action for team and HRM development of a new venture. The communication in both oral and written format of the ideas and findings is very efficient.
