Management Methodologies (5cr)

Objective

Student knows the basic principles and methods of leadership and management methodologies. The student understands the central theories from leadership, motivation and organizational culture and can apply them in practice. Students should also understand and be able to apply the theories of key management theorists to real life. She/he knows the key principles and roles of management, and the theoretical and practical sides of this.

Content

Values and leading ideas, building a motivational atmosphere, leading towards vision, motivational grounds, leading experts and personal leadership competence, leadership skills, motivation theory, personnel management, organization skills, time management, organizational structure, control and others.

1) exam, 2) assignments including a self-assessment, and exercises.
