The course uses the flipped learning method, in which case the independent work of each module of the course (familiarization with the learning material and learning assignments) is always done before the webinars. As part of independent study, the course includes recorded online lectures with test questions as learning assignments. The webinars emphasize learning together and the importance of peer support, e.g. in connection with small group assignments.
Independent study includes:
-Reflective assessment of one's own health promotion expertise in accordance with international accreditation criteria (IUHPE Health Promotion Practitioner accreditation criteria)
-Written learning assignment regarding well-being and health promotion strategies and programmes in your chosen area, including a
sustainable development perspective -a written learning assignment as a small group assignment regarding the network and stakeholder work
of a health promotion expert -a blog post by a health promotion expert
-a reflective learning diary to be written throughout the course on the Moodle learning platform.
