Objective

The students recognize their own learning needs and can set realistic learning objectives. They are able to form a realistic picture of their own learning by evaluating the development of their knowledge and skills in relation to their personal goals and those of the work community. They can identify the research methods which best suit their work and can use them. They can plan the thesis process. In evaluation they are able to utilize the competence of the entire group and to recive and give feedback. Based on the evaluations, they are able to reflect on the need for future development of their competence.

Content

The objectives of studies. The learning process and learning styles. Personal study plan. Research methodologies in the field of engineering and technology. Planning and supervision of thesis. Evaluation of one's own learning and the learning process; plans for continuation. Evaluation of the content and implementation of education; thesis assessment.

Qualifications

Broad mastery of the basics of the professional field.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Assessment criteria: 1) active participation in contact study; 2) ability to create a rational research plan for the implementation of the thesis 3) ability to present the plan clearly to peers; 4) ability to apply suitable research methods innovatively; ability to produce a self-evaluation report and an evaluation report on the content of education.
