Objective

The students develop their communication skills required in demanding expert tasks in diversified ways.
They are able
- to write publishable articles and press releases related to their own field of expertise in Finnish
- to prepare and deliver expert-to-expert presentations with the related abstracts and presentation graphics for international audiences in English.

Content

Writing a publishable article and press release in Finnish.
Making an expert-to-expert presentation for an international audience, and the related abstract and presentation graphics in English.

Qualifications

Good skills in Finnish and in English
(Common European Framework of Reference, level B2)

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Pass:

The student has written a publishable article and press release in Finnish. The student has prepared and delivered an oral presentation in English suitable for an international audience, providing an informative abstract and presentation graphics supporting the presentation.
