Creative Writing/Writer´s Workshop (3op)

Osaamistavoitteet

The students become better writers in internalising the interactive processes that bring about communication. They are aware of various written discourses and have developed their skills in writing versatile text types for international purposes.

Sisältö

Writing is viewed as a multistage process, where the stages are interactive and frequently occur simultaneously. The participants exercise the writing process consisting of prewriting, drafting, revising, editing and publishing, and familiarise themselves with all of these stages.

Based on assignments accomplished during lessons and at home. The course tutor and fellow students evaluate the texts, and the students are also expected to continuously self-evaluate their texts. In addition, some tasks are carried out with the process writing method.
