Objective

The student is able to compose and deliver effective and well-organized extemporaneuous speeches that can be adapted to different audiences. The student is able to analyze audiences and adapt oral presentations to different audiences based on the analysis. The student recognizes the ethical responsibilities of a speaker.

- understanding speaking and listening
- speaking ethics
- overcoming fear of speaking
- cultural artifacts speeches
- audience analysis
- credibility
- attention and interest
- informative strategies and presentation aids
- persuasive strategies and motivational appeals
- Sell it! speeches

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Active participation, oral and written competence in the subject area.
