Communication en français (5op)

Osaamistavoitteet

The students acquire a working knowledge of the French language and are able to apply it in everyday situations. The students are also able to tell about their education, to apply for a job and to be able to cope in a multicultural work environment of their study field. They also have qualifications to operate in the most frequent business / hospitality communication situations with French -speaking persons, orally and in writing. They also have skills to fluently express and justify their opinions in French.

Studies in a university of applied sciences, cultural differences, basics of business communication (email, telephone, letter), applying for a job, arrangements and negotiations concerning events, company visits and travelling, basics of customer service, product and company presentations.

The Common European Framework of References for Languages, level A2 – B1
For both degree students and exchange students.

Arviointikriteerit, tyydyttävä (1)

Active participation, written and oral assignments.

The learning outcomes of individual courses are assessed in relation to the objectives of the course concerned. Unless otherwise defined in the curriculum, a course accepted as completed is assessed on the following five-step scale: 5 (Excellent), 4 (Very Good), 3 (Good), 2 (Satisfactory), 1 (Sufficient), If the student does not meet the minimum criteria set for the course, the grade is 0 (Fail). In special cases, a course may be graded as Pass/Fail, marked as “S (Pass)” and “0 (Fail)”.
