Everything about Employment (5cr)

Objective

The students are familiar with the basic norms and principles guiding employment, including the protection of employee interests.

Content

The core content consists of labour laws and the principles of collective agreements. Based on them and court precedents, the start and termination of an employment relationship are examined, as well as the norm-based operations models and conditions that come up during employment.
The course is roughly divided into five areas:
1. Orientation. The start of an employment relationship
2. Employment Contracts Act, the main norm guiding employment.
3. Regulations on working hours and annual holidays
4. Occupational safety and protection
5. Cooperation and protection of employee interests
