Fluent Writing, Tsemppis Can-Do (0cr)

Objective

The students progress in learning and studies, assisted by guidance and support. The students get practice in their reading and writing skills to help them plan their activities, manage their time, read and prepare for exams and produce written assignments.

Content

Group Tsemppis (Can-Do) offers students tools to tackle reading, writing and language learning problems and helps the participants improve their ability to comprehend written text. Guidance is provided on the basis of the level of support needed, and, if necessary, on the assessment of the reading and writing problems. Those who feel they might have dyslexia may participate in an evaluation session arranged twice during every academic year.

The learning outcomes of individual courses are assessed in relation to the objectives of the course concerned. Unless otherwise defined in the curriculum, a course accepted as completed is assessed on the following five-step scale: 5 (Excellent), 4 (Very Good), 3 (Good), 2 (Satisfactory), 1 (Sufficient), If the student does not meet the minimum criteria set for the course, the grade is 0 (Fail). In special cases, a course may be graded as Pass/Fail, marked as “S (Pass)” and “0 (Fail)”.
