Objective

Master student is able to obtain research data in his/her field of expertise and is able to critically assess information and sources of new information. He / she recognises the importance of the knowledge interests of science in applied research. Master student is able to apply different methods of research in the development of working life. He / she understands the importance of the research ethics of applied research and reliability in applied research. Master student is able to use science knowledge, concepts, methods and procedures for carrying out applied research in the field of nursing. He / she can critically evaluate articles of applied research from perspectives of development of nursing. He / she is able to develop communication through research and interaction in nursing.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

1 (Adequate):
Master student is able to acquire research knowledge in the field of their own expertise. He / she is able to source criticism on a basic level. Master student recognises the meaning of the knowledge interests of science sufficiently. He /she is able to describe the differences of research methods and types and identify some of the possible applications of the development work in their own field. Master student knows the basic ethical principles.

2 (Satisfactory):
Master student is able to acquire research knowledge in the field of their own expertise. He /she is able to source criticism. Master student recognises the meaning of the knowledge interests of science. He /she is able to describe the differences of research methods and - types and identifies some of the possible applications of the development work in their own field. Master student knows the basic ethical principles.

3 (Good):
Master student is able to acquire widely research knowledge in the field of their own expertise. He /she is able to source criticism. Master student recognises the meaning of the knowledge interests of applied science. He /she is able to describe the differences of research methods and types and identifies some of the possible applications of the development work in their own field. Master student knows the basic ethical principles and is able to communicate them in applied research.

4 (Very good):
Master student is able to acquire widely research knowledge in the field of their own expertise. He /she is able to source criticism. Master student recognises the meaning of the knowledge interests of applied science. He /she is able to describe the differences of research methods and types and identifies the applications of the development work in their own field. Master student knows the ethical principles in applied research and are able to communicate them.

5 (Excellent):
Master student is able to acquire expertise in its areas of research with a broad and commendable source of criticism. To understand the significance of the interests of science in applied research. He /she is able to critically analyze the different research methods and differences in the types and to apply them in the development field. Master student knows the ethical principles in applied research and are able to show excellent skills in communicating them.
