Russian (3cr)

Objective

The students master the following tasks in Russian:
- communication of their personal and educational background,
- acquisition of field-specific data and mastery of its central concepts,
- management of field-specific job application situations and the central tasks of the field in typical work environments,
- contacts with customers both orally and in writing.
The students know the characteristics of the Russian-speaking cultural and work environment.

Content

- telling about oneself and one's education
- the key concepts of the field
- applying for a job (e.g. job advertisement, application letter, CV, job interview)
- the physical work environment and practical situations at work
- phone calls, appointments, visits, expressing and justifying personal opinion, counselling and guidance
- e-mail communication, summaries (e.g. reports, memos, synopses)
- retrieving information from different sources and processing the retrieved information (e.g. Internet, literature, publications of the field)
- country-specific knowledge

Mastery of the subject and class participation
