Introduction to JUA´s Studies (3cr)

Objective

- recognise their own learning methods and can develop them
- are able to act in the learning and operating environment of JUA
- are able to utilise information and communication technology in compliance with the needs of working life
- recognise entrepreneurship as a potential career choice

Content

- Development of learning competences; creation of a personal study plan (HOPS), including the following items: Entrepreneurial path and Internationalisation plan.
- Recognition and accreditation of prior learning (ePofo)
- Competence level in relation to objectives is identified (e.g. language choices and IT skills)
- Own professional field in Finland and abroad
- Professional growth and development
- JUA as a learning and operating environment
- The information systems of JUA

Qualifications

No prerequisites. Students describe their own initial level at the beginning of the course.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students demonstrate through versatile assignments that their competences meet the learning objectives.
