Objective
Master student knows assessment principles of nursing activity in medical organisations. He / she can explain organisational principles of the quality assurance management system in nursing practice, methods for assessing quality of care, mechanisms for protecting the rights of patients. Master student can analyse and assess patient's satisfaction with quality of care. He / she can identify and address care quality problems in nursing practice when analysing specific situations with an assessment of expected outcomes. He / she can evaluate and help in improving the qualifications and professionalism of nursing staff. Master student can develop corrective measures that improve the quality of care in nursing practice.

Quality management system in health care. Theory of management of the process of quality improvement in nursing. Methodology for assessing the quality of care in nursing practice. Organization of quality control of medical care in nursing. Socio-hygienic and organisational-technological aspects of managing the system of continuous improvement of the quality of medical care in nursing
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Evaluation of the results of oral and written answers in practical classes, examinations:
1 (Adequate)
Master student shows insufficient knowledge of the programme material, is not capable of presenting it in a reasoned and consistent way, has crude mistakes in answers, answers incorrectly to the question posed or has difficulties in answering.
2 (Satisfactory)
Master student shows sufficient knowledge of the programme material, but is not capable of presenting it in a reasoned and consistent way the studied material, makes mistakes in answers, has difficulties in answering, does not give a reasoned consistent critical answer.
3 (Good)
Master student shows sufficient, but not profound knowledge of the programme material; answers does not have crude errors or contradictions, however in formulation of the answer there is no proper connection between the analysis, argumentation and conclusions. To obtain the right answer, clarifying questions are needed.
4 (Very good)
Master student shows a deep knowledge of the programme material, intelligently sets it out, answers to the question posed and answers to the questions in detail, and skilfully sums up the conclusions. At the same time, when answering, has inessential errors.
5 (Excellent)
Master student shows full and deep knowledge of the programme material, logically and reasonably answers to the question posed, as well as to additional questions, shows high level of theoretical knowledge and the possibility of practical application.
