Phonetics for foreign languages (German) (3cr)

Objective

The Student knows the laws of the phonetic system of the language studied, can distinguish and produce German phonemes and know the basics of the principles of German song diction. The student will be familiar with the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) as applied to German and will be able to make phonetic transcriptions of song texts.
