Objective

The student - demonstrates command of the key concepts of sexology - is able to apply the fundamentals of sexology in nursing - is able to apply evidence-based knowledge in the client’s care and in the development of the field of sexual and reproductive health - is able to develop and implement, within the work community, operating models that support sexuality and sexual health.

Basics of sexology Theories and methods of raising the subject of sexual wellbeing with clients Consideration of the client's diversity and sexuality Promoting sexual health and wellbeing throughout client’s lifespan Methods and standards for sex education

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student demonstrates competence in the assessment criteria by mastering the basic content of the course unit, but there are deficiencies in independent information acquisition, interpretation, and the ability to apply what has been learned in a working life context.

The student demonstrates competence in the assessment criteria, showing a strong command of the course content. They actively acquire information and interpret its key connections to working life. They have the ability to analyse what they have learned and apply it within a working life context.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student demonstrates competence in the assessment criteria by mastering the course unit content in a versatile and extensive manner. They have excellent, purpose-appropriate competence in information acquisition. In the solutions they produce, they demonstrate independence, responsibility, and the ability to guide others. Their ability to apply what they have learned to a working life context demonstrates creativity and breadth.
