Objective

The purpose of the study module is to strengthen the student’s competence in matters related to career stages, fluctuations in work ability, and the support of work ability. Furthermore, the aim is to deepen knowledge of work tailoring methods that can be used to promote the work ability and work engagement of employees of different ages. Upon completion of the course module, the student will recognise the needs of employees of different ages and the importance of career flexibility. The student will understand the factors affecting work ability and will be able to apply this knowledge to support and enhance the work ability and work engagement of employees of different ages.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student demonstrates mastery of the basic content of the course unit, but there are deficiencies in independent information acquisition, interpretation, and the ability to apply what has been learned.

The student demonstrates a good command of the course content. They actively acquire information and interpret its key connections. They possess the ability to analyse what they have learned and to apply this knowledge in practice.

The student demonstrates a comprehensive and broad command of the course content. They possess excellent, purpose-appropriate information acquisition skills. In their solutions, they exhibit independence and responsibility. Their ability to apply what they have learned in practice reflects creativity and versatility.
