Objective

The students have an overall picture of the role and significance of management and project work in the field of work concerned. They understand the meanings of self-management, leadership and business management, and their role in organisations and business operations. They know the basic management concepts and are able to evaluate their own managerial strengths and development challenges.
They understand the key concepts related to organisation, daily management and strategic management, and the role of management tools in the development of a work community. They understand the strategic significance of competences and their development in view of management and the success of an organisation.
They have basic project work and project management skills.

Qualifications

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Peer review of the teams’ work; teacher's overall assessment of the work.
- Excellent (5): The student has a comprehensive understanding of the concepts and characteristics of management and project work, and he/she shows excellent organisation and coordination skills as a team leader and constructive cooperation ability as a team member.
- Good (4-3) The student has a good understanding of the concepts and characteristics of management and project work, and he/she shows good organisation and coordination skills as a team leader and constructive cooperation ability as a team member.
- Satisfactory/sufficient (2-1): The student has a basic understanding of the concepts and characteristics of management and project work, and he/she is able to act as a team leader and as a team member, showing constructive cooperation ability.
